Firm Profile
We make fearless, timeless architecture informed by an ethos grounded in craft and a sharp sensibility of what makes a place unique and engaging for everyone. Our sweet spot is the intersection between people at work, play, or leisure and their interaction with the culture, climate, and landscape of the place.
We look closely, analyze the geography in the broadest sense of time and space; and, critically parse particular wants and needs to create buildings and spaces that embed users within the surrounding context with a greater awareness of the deeper consequences and conditions of their presence.
Studio A’s work has been internationally recognized for its transformations of local historic patterns, textures, materials, and building types into stellar, provocative, award-winning architecture that has been published widely.
